Available in English and Dutch — 370 stories in all, spanning the Old and New Testament.

Yes. Every story and illustration is prepared and reviewed before it ships — there's no live chat, no user-submitted content, and no comments. Illustrations stay in a warm, family-friendly storybook style with no scary imagery. The app contains zero advertising.

Everyone gets 7 days of full access — no credit card required. After the trial, the first seven stories stay free, and full access requires a subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple through the App Store.

The original verses are sourced from the World English Bible (WEB) for English and the Statenvertaling (1939, public domain) for Dutch. The retelling is generated separately and is clearly marked as such.

Account data (email, optional display name, theme preference, reading progress, subscription status) is stored in Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest. Stories and images are cached on your device for offline use. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, or any advertising network.

Yes — guest mode gives you the full 7-day trial without an account. After the trial, an account is needed to keep reading. You can also delete the account permanently any time from Settings.

Every story has its own illustration, generated with Flux 1.1 Pro and reviewed before it ships. They all share one warm, storybook style, so the app looks consistent from the first story to the last.

Yes. Daily Parable runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17+ / iPadOS 17+) and adapts the layout for larger screens.

Every story has a second, richer layer. Deep Dive adds a longer telling, the extended scripture passage, historical context, the key characters, the themes running through it, reflection questions, and a closing prayer. It's on every story — useful for older readers, and for parents who want something to talk about together.

Yes. Daily Parable has Home Screen widgets in small, medium and large, and Lock Screen widgets in inline, circular and rectangular styles. They show today's affirmation, refresh at midnight, and tap through to today's story.
