Agreement

By downloading or using Daily Parable, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. The account holder must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enter into this agreement. Children under that age may use the app under a parent's account.

The App

Daily Parable is a daily Bible-story app for kids. It provides kid-friendly retellings of Bible stories from the Old and New Testament, daily affirmations, AI-illustrated scenes, and the original Bible verses. It is not a replacement for religious instruction, scripture study, or pastoral guidance.

AI-generated content

The kid-friendly retellings, the daily affirmations, and the illustrations are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude for text, Black Forest Labs' Flux 1.1 Pro for illustrations) and reviewed before being published. They are retellings, not direct translations of scripture. The original verses shown in the "Read original verse" view come from the World English Bible (WEB) for English and the Statenvertaling (1939, public domain) for Dutch — those are the authoritative sources.

Subscriptions

Premium features require a paid subscription, sold through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Current pricing is shown in the app and on the App Store listing.

Free trial

New users get a 3-day free trial with full access — no credit card required. After the trial, the first three stories remain free; everything else requires a Premium subscription.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store refund policy. We can't process refunds directly — Apple manages all billing.

Account & data

You can delete your account permanently from inside the app at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is stored and how.

Acceptable use

Daily Parable contains only pre-generated, reviewed content. It does not have user accounts that can publish content, comment, or message anyone. You agree not to attempt to extract, reverse engineer, scrape, or republish the content of the app outside of personal use within your household.

Disclaimer

Daily Parable is provided "as is." While we work hard to make the experience reliable and the content age-appropriate, we cannot guarantee error-free operation. The app is not a substitute for parental judgment, religious instruction, or a Bible.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mircules is not liable for any damages arising from the use of Daily Parable. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months for the subscription.

Intellectual property

Daily Parable — its design, code, brand, kid-friendly retellings, affirmations, and AI-generated illustrations — is owned by Mircules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app or its content. The original Bible verses (World English Bible, Statenvertaling 1939) are in the public domain and are credited as such inside the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to Daily Parable if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device and deleting your account from Settings.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Daily Parable after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts.
